
Anne Vestey
Anne Vestey has dedicated her life to horses, farming and equine welfare. Raised in a farming family, she began her career in law before spending seven years running the London Bureau of the Los Angeles Times, followed by leading the Association of American Correspondents in London.
Alongside her professional career, Anne has owned Kentchurch Stud, where she has bred Welsh Mountain Ponies, Welsh Cobs and Large Welsh Part-Breds since 1959.
With more than 40 years' experience as a Welfare Officer and trustee across several equestrian organisations, Anne has played a significant role in promoting welfare and good governance within the sector. She is currently Vice President of the British Horse Society and an Adviser to the 826 Stud Book and Registrations Committee, bringing a lifetime of experience and a strong commitment to equine welfare to the EQUISS Advisory Panel.
