Bringing together trusted, independent voices who share our commitment to change, the board draws on a breadth of experience to provide guidance, perspective and constructive challenge. Members volunteer their time to support EQUISS - helping us to navigate complexity and push for meaningful, lasting reform.

Noreen is a highly experienced and qualified social worker working to support the EQUISS team with significant safeguarding issues. Noreen is also an independent specialist risk assessor working with sexual and violent offenders.

Sport Psychologist

Jacqueline Malone brings over 25 years of equestrian coaching experience and deep psychological expertise. She supports riders in developing the personal and performance skills they need to persevere and thrive in and out of the saddle.

Brian Murphy

Criminal and Policing Advisor

Brian Murphy spent 31 years serving in the Police, where he spent most of his career working in the Criminal Investigation Department. Much of Brian’s work involved investigating murders, drug-related crimes, and serious organised crime.

Governance

Arlina is a management consultant with a background across technology, academia, and the equestrian sector. She holds a DPhil in Experimental Psychology and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology.
