Dr Arlina Mauree

Governance

Arlina is a management consultant with a background across technology, academia, and the equestrian sector. She holds a DPhil in Experimental Psychology and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology.

She has held senior leadership positions across global technology organisations, overseeing strategic initiatives in project management, software development, and delivery. As an experienced non-executive director and business consultant, Arlina brings expertise to EQUISS in board-level governance, strategic problem-solving, and change management. She is currently a Trustee at Northampton University Students’ Union, where she chairs the Finance and Risk Committee, and was previously a Non-Executive Director at British Showjumping, leading on inclusivity and compliance.

Arlina is actively involved in the equestrian sector as a breeder, producer, and occasional competitor and is a committed supporter of her daughter, a competitive equestrian athlete. She has also worked with several national equestrian governing bodies.

Known for professionalism and attention to detail, Arlina brings a people-focused approach to complex challenges, grounded in compassion and integrity.

Brian Murphy spent 31 years serving in the Police, where he spent most of his career working in the Criminal Investigation Department. Much of Brian’s work involved investigating murders, drug-related crimes, and serious organised crime.

Safeguarding Consultant

Noreen is a highly experienced and qualified social worker working to support the EQUISS team with significant safeguarding issues. Noreen is also an independent specialist risk assessor working with sexual and violent offenders.
