Tuesday Reitano is the Managing Director of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime, the largest independent non-profit organization that provides strategic and programmatic support to governments and civil society to fight crime and protect those most vulnerable.
In this role, Tuesday works to incubate and provide oversight to community and industry bodies in the establishment of hotlines, ombudsmen, safeguarding organizations, emergency response mechanisms and victim support facilities, among others.
Tuesday is a prominent global expert, who has published extensively and is regularly featured in the international media. Before co-founding the GI-TOC in 2013, she previously worked in the United Nations in New York and Geneva on peace and security issues.
Tuesday has three Masters’ degrees, including a Masters in Non-Profit Administration from New York University, and an MBA from McGill University in Canada.
Tuesday is also the proud mother of a promising young showjumping daughter, who trains with Scott Smith in Normandy, France, where she has a private stable and small breeding enterprise. She very much looks forward to marrying the two worlds of her professional and personal life, and bringing the benefit of her expertise in governance and integrity to the work of EQUISS and the equestrian industry in the UK.
