We are here for anyone in the equestrian community who has experienced, witnessed or been affected by harm, misconduct, safeguarding concerns or poor practice.
If you would like to talk to us about what you are going through, or something that has happened in the past, please email our safeguarding specialists: helpcentre@equiss.org.uk
Please include your name (you can use an alternative to remain anonymous if you'd prefer), your phone number, and some information about what you would like to share, and any accessibility or language needs that we should be aware of.
After you have emailed us, a member of our safeguarding team will contact you within 72 hours. Our team monitor the inbox from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday-Friday.
We will either schedule a phone call with you, or continue an email conversation, to talk further about what happened and the support we may be able to offer you. We will contact you using the method you prefer.
The information you share with us is strictly confidential and is stored in our secure case management system. Your information will only be viewed by our qualified safeguarding team. We will not share this information with anyone outside of our organisation without your explicit consent and will only make referrals to other organisations if you agree for us to do this on your behalf. The only circumstances in which we may need to share information without your consent are where we believe there is a risk of significant harm to you or another person, or where there are other safeguarding concerns that require action.
