EQUISS was created because too many people in the equestrian community told us the same story. They didn't know where to turn. They worried they wouldn't be believed. They were afraid of the consequences of speaking up, especially when those involved held power or influence.

We believed there had to be another way.

An independent organisation where anyone could access support, where safeguarding came before reputation, and where lasting change was driven by evidence, not politics.
